On the first visit, the Doctor does a patient evaluation, answers any questions they have, and tries to get a sense of the patient's goals and objectives for seeking Chiropractic care. For this reason the first visit is typically 30 - 45 minutes. After that, each regular visit is around 20 minutes in length. There is no down time and patients can resume their daily activities after every visit.

What would I expect on the 1st day ?
Most people are nervous for their first appointment with a Chiropractor, however there is nothing to worry about! Your Doctor will go through a series of health history questions to ensure that your safety is put first. You will get a thorough exam that includes: range of motion, orthopedic, and neurological tests.

If necessary we will perform X-Rays, and depending on the severity of your pain and symptoms, the Doctor might have you take an MRI to assess the source of the problem. Next, the Doctor will treat you according to what you are comfortable with and lastly he will provide instructions for home care until your next visit.

What Insurance do you accept ?
We accept all major health insurance plans including: Passport, Medicare, Anthem, Humana, Cigna, Aetna, United HealthCare, and many others. If you are not covered under any health insurance we offer easy / affordable cash payment plans. We accept all patients regardless of their ability to pay.

How soon should I visit after the incident ?
Seeking treatment as soon as possible after the onset of an injury or pain is crucial in regards to your health. Delaying treatment could worsen the injury and prevent you from doing your day-to-day activities. If you treat the injury right away you have a much better chance of a full recovery and getting back to your normal lifestyle.

What are the signs I have a disc injury ?
Disc injuries are very common and you may have symptoms that are not too painful at first but that do need to be treated in order to prevent further damage to your discs and spine. Some common symptoms are pain in the neck and arm, shooting pains from the lower back down to hip/knee/feet, inability to stand up straight, and experiencing pain while coughing or sneezing.
